The IDLIZZ Story

Our founder, Ms. Suman, a scientist driven by precision and discovery, found herself captivated by the rich culinary traditions of South India during her extended stay in Hyderabad. What began as an appreciation for authentic South Indian breakfast—the soft, steamed idlis and the crisp, golden dosas—soon blossomed into a profound passion. 
Upon returning to North India, she keenly felt the absence of that authentic taste, recognizing a gap in the market for high-quality, genuine South Indian cuisine. Combining her scientific rigor with her newfound culinary zeal, Ms. Suman decided to embark on a new mission: to bring the beloved, wholesome breakfast experience of the South to North Indian tables.

Tried the Triple Combo Idlizz platter and it was such a great way to experience different flavours in one order. The Soft Idli was super fluffy, the Kanchipuram Idlizz had amazing spice aroma, and the Millet Idlizz felt healthy yet tasty. Loved the chutney and sambar too — very authentic.

The Ghee Podi Idlizz was the star for me. The ghee aroma with the spicy podi tasted absolutely delicious. We also ordered Medu Vada which was crispy outside and soft inside. Perfect South Indian comfort food experience.
